Recommended by the Front Desk from ANA Holiday Inn Resort Miyazaki. We couldn’t find an all-you-can-eat buffet place so found the next best thing! We got the set dinner menu for two - which costs 10,980¥ for two. This set consists of 6 different types of beef, 4 of which are Miyazaki beef. They have various cuts of beef for you to try and you get around 2 pieces per cut. My favorite would have been either the sirloin or loin. As this was insufficient for our beef cravings, we ended up ordering an additional portion of Miyazaki Tenderloin(5,500) ¥and Miyazaki “Dragon” cut (4,800¥). You can order the meat in ala-carte portions, don’t put your high hopes up that the size is large - most of them would be 80-100 grams per serving. The good thing is that by ordering the set, you also get access to the salad bar. Cold noodles was meh.. you can skip that. Other than that, the dinner experience was amazing and interesting. Highly recommended!

This was our first teppenyaki experience and we really enjoyed it! The chef was fun and the food was tasty! We ordered the round and sirloin 100g course, which is about 70$ per person. This included appetizers, soup, fried rice, Miyazaki beef steaks, and dessert. It also included a salad bar and free drinks at the end like tea, coffee, juice). This offers an opportunity to try two different cuts of steak, and we could tell the difference. Both were very good! Watching the chef cook and plate the food was a fun experience. There was a lot of attention to service from everyone there too!

Miyachiku has several locations across Miyazaki. We reserved teppanyaki at their main branch. They also offer yakiniku which seemed really popular while we were there. The venue is a bit older and there're 2 entrances to the restaurant which was a little confusing but overall, it looks like these guys have withstood the test of time! We opted for a seasonal special Miyazaki wagyu sirloin set which was a bit pricier than their standard menu but it was excellent. The chef was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. We requested him to cook it based on his recommendation and it was sublime. Buttery soft with a mild beef flavor. He recommended a dab of salt and also wasabi which added a mild sweetness. The wagyu in Miyazaki is definitely worth trying and paying a little bit more. The equivalent course in Tokyo probably would have been 1.5-2x more. They speak some English and also have English menus. Definitely recommend coming here for a great wagyu teppanyaki experience!

You can choose to BBQ yourself or teppanaki style. I chose the teppanaki lunch set which comes with beef (2 different cuts) salad bar, soup, and dessert. Price was really good for the award winning beef. Service was excellent. Highly recommended.

Recommended by hotel. Came away rather impressed. Food quality is super. Free flow of salad is rather good. Tried their supreme combo set. And the beef simply super. It melt in your mouth. Service quality is good. They have English and Chinese menu which made ordering rather easy.
